QAB Diverse Doors Open Day 2013

QAB Diverse Doors Open Day 2013
”Experience Our Culture, Learn About Our Beliefs”

If you’re never been inside a Mosque, are curious about Islam,
and/or want to meet your Muslim neighbours, this is an event for you!

Talk 1: Spiritual Islam
Similar to how a detective may become secure about what happened at a crime scene without actually being present during the event, Spiritual Islam looks to investigate claims regarding the ‘Unseen’ in Islam (e.g. “Is there really a Higher Power / life after death?”). This talk also gives some thoughts and understanding about how this can have a profound effect on the way a Muslim chooses to live his/her life.

Food from Around the World will be provided by our diverse congregation, some of who will also be around to chat and answer questions. There will also be a chance to listen to Quran Academy students recite Qur’an, listen to live Adhan (call to prayer), Tour the Mosque, and an Exhibition.

Date: 17th February 2013

Start time: 12.30pm and repeated at 4.30pm (Please state which time you would like to attend when booking)

Cost: Free.

Venue: Quran Academy Bristol, 26 Abingdon Road, Fishponds, Bristol BS16 3NY
