Ammerdown Residential Sunday 24th to Thursday 28th March 2013
Salaam Shalom are providing an intercultural-interfaith residential for young people in partnership with Ammerdown an Interfaith retreat near Radstock, Somerset.
Aims:
- To provide a safe space for open, intercultural and interfaith exchange in a new environment.
- To provide young people with an experience to enhance personal and spiritual growth.
This is a free opportunity aimed at young people from 14-25yrs. Food, transport, talks and worshops are all free (though donations to Salaam Shalom are welcome) to young people who fully participate in the programme. The programme has been designed with members of the Salaam Shalom youth council.
We do require you to put down a deposit of £25 to secure your place, which will be reimbursed.
Workshops include:
- Importance of Interfaith & Intercultural Dialogue
- Music and Change
- Second-Night Passover (Pesach) Seder
- Relationships, Media and Young People
- Creative Writing
