“We recently launched the Woolf Institute Online Short Courses. Jewish-Christian Relations in the English Novel is the first Woolf Institute Online Short Course to go live. This course is the launch pad for a series of Online Short Courses planned for the next few years. At the heart of this project is our intention to enable participants the unique opportunity to engage in interfaith studies within an e-learning environment; and provide participants with a flexible approach to learning; study anywhere at any time. We are developing three streams of online short courses: introductory, advanced and/or specialized, and practice-based. These courses will be available 365 days of the year and open to all who are interested in engaging in topics related to interfaith relations. Designed as five-week courses, students will be able to view their chosen course for two months. No specific academic qualifications are required. Participants will use Moodle (a virtual learning environment) to access their chosen course. Participants will be provided with all the necessary resources to complete the course. Students who participate fully in their chosen course will receive a Woolf Institute Certificate of Completion. Full details are available at:http://www.woolf.cam.ac.uk/
